Teaching Philosophy
In physics education, mathematical formalism and physical intuition must evolve in tandem. My objective across all levels of instruction is to help students transcend formula memorization and develop independent physical insight: the capacity to look at a complex phenomenon, construct a simplified model, identify the governing symmetries and conservation laws, and critically appraise analytical approximations.
Whether introducing wave propagation, thermal processes, and electromagnetism in Fundamentos de Física, establishing vector calculus rigor in Campo Eletromagnético, or decomposing complex vibrations into normal modes in Ondas, I emphasize physics as a unified and harmonious discipline. Students are encouraged to cultivate analytical discipline, curiosity, and clarity in their scientific communication.
